Good Faith Effort

As a convenience to visitors to our website who use our listings to contact a therapist, Two Dogs and a Therapist LLC makes a good faith effort to verify licensing information provided by therapists who may pay us to list their practice on our website. Our verification efforts are limited to confirming the name and license identifier provided by a therapist in therapist’s primary licensing state at the time the listing is created. All licensed therapists listed on our website are ultimately governed by the laws and ethics codes of the states in which they are licensed and are solely responsible for all interactions with clients or prospective clients, regardless of those interactions are facilitated by this website.

We provide an unpaid convenience service to visitors to our website seeking a therapist. We do not warrant that we can accurately reflect any changes to a therapist’s licensing status on our website or that we can detect accidental or deliberate misrepresentations in therapist listings. Two Dogs and a Therapist shall bear no liability to users using our website as an unpaid convenience in order to contact or establish a relationship with a therapist.

Our subscription plan for therapists (listing users) who list their practice on our website contains a free-trial period during which the listing user may cancel with no financial obligation. Following the free-trial period (and subject to the application of any coupons in use), we may collect an agreed-upon recurring monthly subscription fee using an authorized payment method associated with the listing user’s account. A listing user may cancel a listing subscription with no further financial obligation at any time prior to the next monthly renewal date. In the case of cancellation, the subscription will lapse on the next monthly renewal date. No prorated refunds will be given for the remainder of the current monthly subscription period in which the listing user cancels the subscription. We reserve the right to remove any practice listing whose subscription has lapsed from our directory, which will require re-entry of listing data should the listing user decide to resume their subscription in the future.

We reserve the right to hide or delete any user-generated content (including listings, posts, or comments) which we deem objectionable or inappropriate for this website or our audience.
